Hi to every all. This is Northstar Philippines. Catering your printing needs and graphic related projects. But before we give out details on our little company, heres a little background on when where and how Northstar happened.

Around 1980, founder/manager Mel Robleza (tito Mel to everybody) , started printing project shirts for friends and families as souvenirs and uniforms and just for fun. By using a tooth brush and stencil plus paint, his works reached a mile of people and started accepting printing jobs for cheap price. Learning new techniques, keeping up with the trend, tito mel managed to service the growing demand of silkscreen printing.

He later on used the garage as a shop. With green films and the love of having a design printed on a shirt, northstar was officially established to do business as Northstar Trade. from calling cards to posters, from bumper stickers to election paraphernalia, from tshirt to banners.. yes he is doing it all together with his team of hardworking friends and families.

After relocating to manila in 1993 to get a bigger space for work, 1998 came as a disaster. Two offset machines, an apple computer set, a bunch of artworks, gallons and gallons of paint and hundreds frames of silkscreens in all sizes and mesh.. burned down to the ground. It was a full shock. Nobody knows what to do. "Restart" as tito mel in full confidence said.

Northstar still managed to get projects here and there. Trying to get back up and revive the old spirit it had in the 80's. But it was hard when all of your contacts losts, your number changed and most of all, theres no materials you can use.

2005, marked as the reckoning of Northstar as two young crazy souls revived the love of getting the shirts printed with there own designs and the smell of superwhite as they often say. Bit by bit, project after project, the new shop is getting back its materials and nevertheless its spirit.

By 2008, Northstar has completely recovered from the tragedy and again is completely operational. Along with the progress and development Northstar is doing, they also updated the printing company name to NorthStar Philippines.. Spreading its name nationwide and overseas.
